How to find a receiver i.p. address

On your DIRECTV remote, hold down the info button and keep holding it down until the entire screen is black and you will have two options at the bottom right of the screen.  Select the bottom on, more options.  The next page that comes up will have lots of information about the receiver.  Scroll down with the arrow keys on the remote until you see the i.p. address.
